四、阅读理解(共4题,共 20分)

24、Can you post the photos of your friends online? Some students think they can post their friends’ photos online. Others don’t agree with them. Here are the different ideas about the question.

Yes:

Li Yaobo, 14, Beijing

I think people need to get the permission from their friends. Some people may not like to share their photos on social media. If their friends directly post their photos online, they will feel uncomfortable and even argue with their friends about it. It will affect their friendship.

Sun Yao, 14, Zhejiang

Photos could show their friends’ faces, the places they have been to and other information. In this case, people disclose their friends’ privacy while posting their photos online. It is impolite or even against the law to disclose one’s privacy.

Liao Chengkun, 14, Guangdong

If people directly post photos of their friends online, many people can get the photos. Some strangers might use their photos illegally (非法地).

No:

Zhang Yingke, 14, an overseas student at Unionville High school , Canada

I believe that we don’t have to get our friends’ permission before posting their photos on social media. If that person takes photos with you and the photos are in your hands, they are yours and you have the right to do whatever you want. Second, if our friends are active on social media and like sharing, they would like their photos to be seen.

Zhang Yiyi, 14, Shanxi

I think that if my friends want to post photos of us online, they don’t need to tell me. I believe that they have no harm to me. And it is also another way to show our real friendship. It means they value friendship with me and want to share it with more friends. I can also interact (互动) with them online. Maybe someone worries that the posted photos will disclose his or her privacy. But I think real friends will not post photos that do that.

【1】Li Yaobo thinks _______________.

A.people who post photos needn’t get the permission from their friends

B.most people like to share their photos on social media

C.posting photos is even against the law

D.posting photos may lose the good friendship

C.Zhang Yingke

D.Liao Chengkun

B.隐私

C.住所

D.年龄

【4】What’s the best title for the passage ?

25、   When I was a little child, I lived a happy life. My parents took me to play in many places, and in school, my teacher was kind and friendly, he left me little homework. We used to play games and watch cartoons in class.

However, my bad dreams began when I got to Grade Three. The teachers were stricter and the subjects were more difficult. My grades were dropping which made my parents very worried. They had to make me study all day. I was very tired and thought the school was not fun as before. Then in Grade Four and Grade Five, I kept having the problem, failing grades. I almost lost heart in learning.

Grade six was the last year when I was in primary school. On April 21th that year, our school held a sport meeting. Luckily, I won the races for 100m and 200m. It was on the winter’s platform (领奖台) that realized I was the fastest runner in the school. From then on, I studied harder and more carefully. I wanted to prove that I could also do well in study. Then my grades became better and better.

So we should look up and never give up. Failure does not mean you are a loser. But when you keep going and keep working hard, you will win. Without pain, suffering, regrets or failure, you will never become the greatest.

26、   I’m the engine that keeps you working, and  I’m here to share some of my secrets. I have 100 billion nerve cells (神经细胞),so you need to consider before you blame (责怪)me for not being so fast enough. It’s not really my fault: information travels through me too fast and sometimes I can’t keep all of it.

The Internet is making me weak. A study found that you’ve been relying more on the Internet. That means I’m going to forget more over time. Scientists have been worried that our ability to think is being lost.

In general, I’m about ten percent larger in men than women. It doesn’t make men smarter. It just lets me control their different bodies. Actually, it’s more common for women to get angry, but men can’t focus on a thing well. They usually have language difficulties.

Your mobile phone scares me. A new study showed that more than one hour of mobile phone use can get me in trouble. Mobile phone radiation (辐射)might cause me to be in a worse situation.

Some parts of me never sleep. It’s important for you to get a good night’s sleep. Sleep helps to improve memories. In fact, when you are asleep, some parts of me are still working hard on my duty. Besides, laughter is really the best medicine for me. So remember to laugh more for my better situation.

1What’s the result of depending too much on the Internet?

A. It will make people remember things for a long time.

B. It helps people to remember things more easily.

C. It may affect one’s regular way of thinking.

D. It may make us lose the ability to learn.

A. Get a shorter sleep every night.

B. Blame “me” for not being fast enough.

C. Use “me” more instead of the Internet.

D. Use a mobile phone for one hour each day.

5What can we know from the passage?

A. Men can pay close attention to a thing.

D. Mobile phone radiation may bring serious problems to “me”.
