Have you ever thought about keeping a pet goldfish? First you need to know how to keep it.
Get a fishbowl(鱼缸)— First get a fishbowl. Make sure the fishbowl is large enough for the goldfish to swim in. You should keep the fishbowl clean. Don't clean the fishbowl with soap. Hot water will clean it well.
Feed a goldfish — Goldfish eat almost any food. And you can also buy some special food for your goldfish in shops. Do not feed it too much food. Feed it as much as it can eat in three minutes one time.
Keep the water clean — Dirty water is not good for the health of the goldfish. If the water is dirty, the goldfish will easily get sick and may die. Change 25% of the water at least once a week. Never change all of the water because it includes something that your goldfish needs.
As you can see keeping goldfish as pets is not difficult.

22、On my recent trip to Sydney with my parents, we visited the Wildlife Park.
The Wildlife Park has lots of different animals and birds. Some are native (当地的) to Australia and can only be found there. There are over 600 animals there, including kangaroos, koalas and crocodiles (鳄鱼). They are kept in their natural environment. I like the Wildlife Park better than a zoo where most of the animals are in cages (笼子).
We first spent some time with the kangaroos. We were allowed to touch and feed them. It was very exciting to be so close to them. There were koalas there too. They looked very cuddly (令人想拥抱的). Although we were not allowed to carry them, I got to take a photo with one. It is a wonderful souvenir (纪念品) of my holiday in Sydney.
The Wildlife Park has plenty of freshwater and saltwater crocodiles. Some of them are really big and scary (吓人的) with huge teeth! I did not want to get too close to them.
There was also a bird show. The keepers showed us different species (种类) they had. I saw an old parrot which could “talk”. It made a great impression on me.

During his long work life, Pei has left over 50 buildings with different styles (风格) around the world. According to him, it is dangerous for an architect to be marked with only one style. Instead, he was known for his eclectic style, bringing together opposite ideas into each design-East and West, ancient and modern, natural and man-made.
His style may come from his life experiences. He was born and grew up in China, and then he went to the US to study architecture at 18. Pei tried to include local (当地的) and historical ideas in his designs. When designing Suzhou Museum in the 2000s, Pei made the building go with the city. He built small halls with traditional white walls and dark roofs (屋顶), just like the classical Chinese gardens which Suzhou are famous for. At the same time, the lines and the windows in the roof bring something modern to the museum.
Even in Pei's 80s when he was designing the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, Qatar, he still kept learning new things. He spent months in the Middle East visiting special places.
